With the growth in population of the district the number of responses has increased also.  During 2001 CE-Bar VFD responded to over 360 alarms. Average response time for in-district alarms is approximately 4 minutes. While most CE-Bar VFD alarms are of a medical nature, the department also responded to structure fires, car fires, rescues, hazardous materials incidents, motor vehicle accidents, grass fires, unreported control burns and false alarms.
